      Generic name: Amlodipine Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets

【Indications】

      Suitable for patients who require combination therapy of amlodipine and atorvastatin. Amlodipine is used to treat hypertension and coronary heart disease; Atorvastatin is used to treat hypercholesterolemia and coronary heart disease.

[Usage and Dosage]

      The function of this product is equivalent to that of its two components used alone and can be replaced with each other. The usual starting dose for treating hypertension with amlodipine is 5mg once daily, and the maximum dose is 10mg once daily. The commonly used starting dose of atorvastatin is 10mg once daily. The interval for dose adjustment should be 4 weeks or longer. The maximum dose of this product is 80mg once daily. Atorvastatin can be taken once a day at any time and is not affected by meals.

[Contraindications]

      Patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product should avoid using it. This product contains the ingredient atorvastatin. Therefore, for patients with active liver disease, which may include unexplained continuous elevation of liver transaminase (more than three times the upper limit of normal), it should be contraindicated. Prohibited for pregnant and lactating women.
